Project Description

The research project has an interdisciplinary character and is positioned at the intersection of political science, cultural science, economics, history, and theory of international relations. It engages with the issues of national identity in the formation of the policy of economic nationalism as a factor of national and international security, as exemplified by Austria and Germany. The main goal of the research project is to identify the main aspects of national identity, which must be taken into account when forming a new system of international economic relations and foreign policy, especially in connection with geopolitical changes in the international arena. In addition, the influence of globalization processes on the realization of national interests and the formation of national geostrategy is considered. The theoretical and practical content of this study consists in the search for a national strategy for economic growth of Ukraine, oriented to the global challenges of the development of modern European and world civilization, and in the development of an optimal mechanism for the formation of national identity in the context of ensuring national security and implementing international economic relations based on the experiences of Austria and Germany.
