SLIS Student Featured in Librarianship.ca's 'Freshly Minted' Series

SLIS student Alyssa Hyduk has recently been featured in the online publication of Librarianship.ca's 'Freshly Minted' series for her thesis work at the UofA. Her research explores the role videogames play in the formation of cultural memory of the 'War on Terror' in adults aged 18-25.

SLIS student Alyssa Hyduk has recently been featured in the online publication of Librarianship.ca's 'Freshly Minted' series for her thesis work at the UofA.
Her research explores the role videogames play in the formation of cultural memory of the 'War on Terror' in adults aged 18-25; her supervisor is Dr. Michael McNally from SLIS. She will be presenting her work at this year's Canadian Games Studies Association conference at Congress in Calgary.
