Dr. Shiri Delivers Invited Presentation at the International Conference on University Libraries in Mexico

Dr. Shiri delivered a presentation titled 'The Impact of Big Data' in the XIII International Conference on University Libraries (XIII Conferencia Internacional Sobre Bibliotecarios Universitarias) held at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City. The presentation addressed the notion, definitions and the repaid growth of publications on big data. It specifically focused on the impact of big data on academic libraries, in particular the impact of big data on digital library infrastructure, findability and discoverability, information professionals, users and user education and scholarly communication.
