SLIS would like to extend our congratulations to Kate Charuk for her win of the Ivy A Thomson and William A Thomson Graduate Scholarship which is worth $18,000. This highly-competitive scholarship is awarded to two "academically outstanding" graduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Alberta each year. Kate is SLIS' first winner, and we are so proud!
