SLIS professor Margaret Mackey was one of several international keynote speakers at a conference on Bestsellers and Blockbusters, held at Aalborg University in Denmark. Dr. Mackey's talk was entitled, "Bestsellers, Blockbusters, and the Ever-Expanding Multiverse of Spin-Offs," and its two key examples were Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Fifty Shades of Grey. Other keynote speakers came from the United States, Australia, Germany, and Denmark.
