Director Ernie Ingles Appointed to Royal Society of Canada Expert Panel

Director Ingles has been appointed to a Royal Society of Canada (RSC) Expert Panel on "The Status and Future of Canada's Libraries and Archives". Expert Panels are struck by the RSC as a public service to Canadians for the purpose of providing insight, advice and recommendations to Canadian governments, industry and NGO's on public policy. The Panels provide independent, comprehensive, and evidenced-based input with regard to issues of importance to Canadians. This Panel will ". . . make recommendations for strengthening these institutions' capacity to serve the public interest through a mix of traditional competencies, new technologies, and a reinvigorated sense of mandate and audience."
