SLIS Professor Serves on Research Integrity Panel

Dr. Lisa Given served recently on a 14-member panel of experts (chaired by Dr. Paul Davenport, President Emeritus of the University of Western Ontario and a Past-President of the University of Alberta) appointed to examine the state of research integrity in Canada. The Council of Canadian Academies has just released the Panel's report entitled Honesty, Accountability and Trust: Fostering Research Integrity in Canada. The Panel's report is in response to a request from Industry Canada for an assessment of the key research integrity principles, procedural mechanisms, and appropriate practices for their application across research disciplines and institutions in Canada.
