The field's premier venue for research in information behaviour, the Information Seeking in Context conference, was held recently in Murcia, Spain. Heidi Julien, SLIS Professor, presented a paper jointly written with Dr. Kirsty Williamson from Monash University in Australia. Their paper was titled, "Discourse and Practice in Information Literacy and Information Seeking: Gaps and Opportunities." The ISIC conference has been held biennially since 1996, and attracts scholars from across the globe. Papers presented at the conference are published in Information Research: An International Electronic Journal (http://informationr.net/ir/).
