Undergraduate Scholarships

You don’t need top grades to get scholarships and awards.

The application for undergraduate scholarships and awards will open in February 2025.

The University of Alberta awards over $40 million in undergraduate scholarships each year, so whether you're a scholastic achiever, community leader or well-rounded student, we've got an award fit for you.

The undergraduate scholarships and awards are available for current UAlberta students and students at the end of their degree program, as well as those entering a professional program, an after-degree program or applying to transfer from another post-secondary institution.

With just one application, you’ll be assessed for awards and scholarships based on academics, leadership, equity and need. Applications for the next cycle will open in February 2025.
