The Centre for Healthy Communities works with diverse partners and collaborators to advance the wellbeing and sustainability of communities. We recognize that health and wellness are created outside of the healthcare sector, so we work across sectors to address root causes of ill health, vulnerability, and inequity.
We collaborate with government, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, civil society, the private sector, community members, and other academics. Through these collaborations we conduct research, evaluation, and engagement with communities to provide timely, evidence-informed solutions to help communities thrive.
Since the solutions for one community can be adapted to many, our work has both immediate and enduring impact on society.
