Practice Affiliates and Research Affiliates
Are you a research, practice, or policy professional who is passionate about working closely with communities to achieve collective impact? Do you strive to address public health problems and societal questions that impact health, well-being and sustainability? Do you have knowledge and experience that you want to share with other practice and policy professionals working with communities to achieve their healthiest potential?
Centre for Healthy Communities practice affiliate and research affiliate members are actively working or volunteering in a practice or research-based setting and contribute to activities or research that supports healthy communities.
Practice affiliates and research affiliates support Canadians in helping their communities achieve their healthiest potential by:
- sharing their practice and research perspectives, experiences, and expertise
- collaborating with Centre scientists, staff, and other practice affiliates and research affiliates
- supporting knowledge mobilization of Centre for Healthy Communities research into practice and action
- fostering connections between the Centre for Healthy Communities and research and practice organizations across diverse sectors and jurisdictions
If this sounds like you, submit your request to be involved as a Centre practice affiliate or research affiliate. New applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Centre practice affiliate and research affiliate memberships are renewed biennially in September (next renewal is September 2025).
