Through a partnership with Ireland Canada University Foundation, we offer a three-week study abroad Irish Language course at the National University of Ireland Galway. Students selected for this program will have their tuition, room, and board paid by scholarship. You can apply for additional funding for your personal travel costs through the Individual Award at UAI, deadline January 30. More information about this course, normally offered in June, can be found here. Successful completion of this course will be credited in the Faculty of Arts as Arts Option 1XX for six credits.

Pre-requisites: IRISH 111 and IRISH 112

To apply, please complete the online departmental application. If selected by the department for this award and opportunity, you will later apply for consideration to the Ireland Canada Foundation.
