As a student involved in the MLCS major language route you are required to earn at least 6 credits in an experience abroad or in Francophone areas of Canada.
What can count as such a component?
- An exchange to another university (see options below)

| Goal | Live the life of a student abroad! Take academic courses at a university abroad and transfer credits to your degree in Canada (talk to an advisor beforehand to see which courses you have to take). |

Students are encouraged to apply for funding through the Education Abroad Office in Hub Mall.Further information can be found at: University International > Go Abroad > Get Funding
Students receive on average between $1,200-$1,800 in funding.
