The Open Minds Celebration of Research took place on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. This event features lightning talks from researchers funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) that showcases the importance of their work in helping us better understand ourselves and our world through the study of people and society.
This year two speakers were from our department, our graduate student Kenzie Gordon and MLCS Professor Astrid Ensslin.
Kenzie Gordon (Digital Humanities): Powering Up: Games for Sexual Violence Prevention
Astrid Ensslin (Modern Languages and Cultural Studies): Writing New Bodies: Critical Co-Design for 21st Century Digital-born Bibliotherapy
