Services
The Alberta Transplant Applied Genomics Centre (ATAGC) offers a wide array of research services and advice in molecular diagnostics and four core areas:
- the Molecular Microscope® (MMDx) Diagnostic System - gene chip technology that provides the first comprehensive molecular assessment of biopsies, a completely new system for assessing disease.
- Transcript assessment - molecular interpretation of biopsies and tissues
- Computational Biology and Biostatistics
We focus on the application of current technologies and computational tools to aid the understanding, diagnosis, and prevention of human disease. As such, our comprehensive services are currently serving hospitals and academic centers around the world. In addition, we support research within the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry including the Cross Cancer Institute, Rehabilitation Medicine, Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, and other areas such as Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences, and Biological Sciences.
