Health Sciences Council is pleased to welcome Dr. Lory Laing, Professor and Interim Dean of the School of Public Health, as our Interim Chair from Sept. 1, 2012, to June 30, 2013.
Dr. Laing previously served as associate dean (education), School of Public Health. She joined the professorial ranks of the University of Alberta as assistant professor in 1976. Dr. Laing is also an alumna of the U of A, having received her BA, MA, and PhD here. She has received numerous teaching awards throughout her career.
