About FEGRS

The Faculty of Engineering Graduate Research Symposium (FEGRS) is an annual event conducted by the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering.

FEGRS provides excellent research exposure and opportunities to support graduate and undergraduate students, preparing Alberta’s future engineers. Throughout the symposium graduate students share their work and connect with the research community, learning about cutting-edge research at the Faculty.

This conference is not just about showcasing the latest breakthroughs; it is about recognizing their potential to transform how we live, work, and interact with the world around us. Whether it is revolutionizing healthcare through cutting-edge technologies or optimizing energy consumption to safeguard our environment, engineering holds the key to addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time.
