Eva Chueng, City of Edmonton

Eva is the General Supervisor of Metro & Capital LRT Extension with the City of Edmonton Integrated Infrastructure Services Department. Eva has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and dedicated the past 16 years in leading multi-disciplinary teams through LRT corridor planning, design, procurement and construction phases. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Construction Engineering & Management from the University of Alberta. She is currently responsible for overseeing the delivery of Metro NW LRT extension and Capital South LRT extension. Eva is committed to relationship building and has participated in over 150 public engagement events in her career to date.
Eva is a past Chairwoman of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering Edmonton Section and a strong supporter of fostering STEM interests in the next generation, particularly among girls and young women, through mentoring and coaching.
