City and War: Interviews of Eastern Ukraine

CIUS's Contemporary Ukraine Studies Program is humbled to introduce the City and War project based at the Karazin National University of Kharkiv, aiming to document and comprehend the inevitably changing landscape of urban Eastern Ukraine affected by the ongoing offense on its sovereignty.

This project is a special initiative conducted within a larger ongoing collaboration entitled CityFace.  A series of Ukrainian-language interviews conducted by our colleagues in Kharkiv with prominent scholars, activists, philanthropists, and cultural heritage managers exploring  complex subjects of urban life under the threat of war are regularly added to the CityFace YouTube channel for review and sharing.
