Teaching and Learning in Time of War: A Webinar

May 28, 2022 - The Ukrainian Language Education Centre (ULEC) hosted a webinar titled "Teaching and Learning in Time of War", gathering an audience from Canada, Ukraine, Poland, USA, UK, and other countries. Attendees had an opportunity to hear the voices of researchers, teachers, and parents from three Ukrainian regions: Kyiv, Ternopil, and Cherkasy. The nine presenters highlighted the influence of the Russian-Ukrainian war on the educational experiences and processes in their schools. They addressed the challenges that students, teachers and parents are facing and how they are overcoming them. The experiences of teaching and learning that the presenters shared could be of great value to educators hosting child refugees from war-torn Ukraine anywhere in the world.
