Sensory neurons

The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta has extensive basic and clinical research programs that promote and encourage innovation and discovery. Research projects and initiatives are conducted on an ongoing basis, and play an important role in our faculty, department, practice and training.

As a department we encourage investigators to foster a spirit of inquiry, pursue constant renewal and the acquisition of new knowledge, and apply research outcomes to practice.
