PGY5's score among top percentiles in AKT-24 examination

We are proud to announce that all of our PGY5 residents scored in the 90th and 99th percentiles on the Anesthesia Knowledge Test-24 (AKT-24), written on the morning of Friday, August 16.

The AKT-24 examination assesses knowledge after twenty-four months of clinical anesthesiology residency training. The examination content focuses on anesthesiology subspecialty topics and is revised every other year.The exam covers seven content areas: Cardiothoracic Vascular, Neuro, Obstetric, Pediatric and Perioperative Anesthesia as well as Critical Care and Pain Medicine.
