Alberta Society of Professional Biologists
Students in the Environmental & Conservation Sciences degree may be eligible to become Professional Biologists (P.Biol) through the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (ASPB).
American Fisheries Society
Students in the Environmental & Conservation Sciences degree may be eligible to become Certified Fisheries Professionals through the American Fisheries Society (AFS).
Association of Alberta Forest Management Professionals
Graduates from our Forestry and our Forest Business Management Program are eligible for the Registered Professional Forester (RPF) designation through the Association of Alberta Forest Management Professionals - an essential qualification for advancement in the industry.
Institute of Food Technologists
Students in the Food Science and Technology Specialization or Honours Food Science program are encouraged to pursue membership and conference opportunities with the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and with the Canadian Institute of Food Science & Technology.
College of Dietitians of Alberta
Students who complete the Dietetics Specializations will be eligible to become Registered Dietitians (RD)through the College of Dietitians of Alberta. They can also become member of Dietitians of Canada.
Alberta Human Ecology and Home Economics Association
After completion of an undergraduate degree in Human Ecology, students are eligible to join the Alberta Human Ecology and Home Economics Association and apply for registration as a Professional Human Ecologist (PHEc).
