We also have a variety of web resources to continue supporting your students throughout their green and gold journey.

On-Demand Content

We know your students' schedules are busy, and that can sometimes make it challenging to attend events. That is why we are proud to offer on-demand videos to help them learn about our admissions process, academics and student life at their convenience.

Historical Averages

We encourage students to apply early, as admission is competitive and works on a rolling basis, and space in each program is limited. To better serve prospective students, please view historical admission averages.

Please note: These historical admission averages do not serve as a guarantee for future admission.

  • Recruitment Events

We offer in-person and virtual events for students to learn about our programs, admissions, scholarships and more.

  • Campus Tours

Book a campus tour to explore what our campus has to offer. Group tour options are available!

  • Virtual Advising

General and faculty-specific advising sessions are available to help students with their university-related questions.

  • Chat with Our Students

Students can message a U of A Ambassador using our ambassador platform and ask questions about the student experience.

Supporting Your Students

Every student is unique so we want to provide you with all of the information and resources you require to suit their needs. Whether it’s additional support or enhanced opportunities, we can help.

AP and IB Students

We recognize the achievements of AP and IB students and want them to continue their studies here at the U of A.

When assessing applications, we will use their AP or IB grade if it is higher than the provincial equivalent. Students can also be recognized with transfer credit, advanced placement or credit by special assessment.

Learn more by visiting AP Students and IB Students.

Indigenous Students

Our Indigenous Students web page contains more information about admission options, the Transition Year Program, as well as student services and support, special events, student housing and more.

We’re also able to support Indigenous students who are considering applying for post-secondary through one-on-one advising and assistance with a variety of topics.

Contact us at indigenous@ualberta.ca.

International Students

We value the diversity that can be found on campus, and we want to ensure our international students feel supported. With over 43,000 students from 162 countries on campus, your students can find their place and a community here. We want to help them every step of the way!
