Overview
Leeds International Summer School (LISS) offers you the opportunity to study at the University of Leeds and immerse yourself in British culture as part of an exciting two or four-week programme. Taking advantage of the vibrant , student friendly city of Leeds, and the rich history, culture and natural beauty of the area, the summer school combines world-class tuition with local knowledge, academic related field trips, and a wide variety of social activities.

Dates & Duration: The program runs in 2 blocks over 4 weeks.
Block one - June 28 - July 12, 2025
Block two - July 13 - July 26, 2025
You can participate in both blocks or in just one. Each two week block is equivalent to 3 UofA credits.

Each module usually includes at least one field trip to support what you’ve learned in the classroom and give you insights into British culture, history and society.
Cultural Excursions and Social Events
The summer school has a busy social program to help you make the most of your time in Leeds and the UK. Previous excursions have included visits to the historic city of York, the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales, the coastal town of Whitby, and Harewood House, a traditional English country home.

Fees & Costs
Education Abroad Nomination Fee: $250 CAD
Leeds program fee: Nominated students - £2,120 for the entire 4-week program or £1,260 for block one or block two for a 2 week program.
Early Application Discount: Submit your LISS application by 1 April 2025 to receive an early discount.
