Eligibility Requirements

Open to: All Faculties

Level: Undergraduate, Graduate

Students wanting to go on exchange to Nantes Universite need to have completed 2 years of university-level studies before the exchange starts.

Nantes Universite also asks for a level B1 in French from almost all exchange students, so they can interact and integrate themselves quickly with others. The only exception to the B1 French expectation would be for students wanting to study in their Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences and History where the requirement would be B2. There may be other faculties or departments requiring a B2 level.  Free French support courses are offered to exchange students during the academic year.
