Eligibility Requirements

Open to: All students—The program is intended for students in bachelor's or master's programs in life sciences, agriculture, food, nutrition, public health, or dietetics from an accredited institution.

Level: Undergraduate, Graduate


Program Information

Language of Instruction: English

2024 Field of Study: Food Sciences, Life Sciences, Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, etc…

Students will receive *3 UofA credit. Course content includes: 

  • Psychological factors in food choices / sensory analysis lab
  • Bread baking workshop; cheese making workshop
  • Experimenting with different cooking techniques
  • Cooking and health: cancer patients, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, immune disorders
  • Course-related excursions: farmers' market, fish farm, Alain Ducasse landmarks
  • Characterization of nutritional loss during food processing
  • Lectures are integrated into the workshops 

Fees and Costs

Education Abroad Nomination Fee: $250

2024 Tuition: EXCH 811 Registration for *3 approx $750.

2024 General fees & costs: €2,300 (approx. $3400)*

*to be updated by partner university

The fees include on-campus housing in a double room, breakfast, a one-way transfer from Paris CDG airport to UniLaSalle Campus, all field trips, and transportation. 

Students are responsible for their flights, passport/visa, insurance, additional meals, expenses and return costs.
