Women's Residence
St. Joseph's College women's residence is home to a community of 284 female students. The residence is located in the heart of the University of Alberta main campus, a half block away from a city transit hub, and just a short walk to all U of A main campus classrooms.
Each resident has a private, fully-furnished room that includes a bed with drawers, desk, chair, bedside table, closet and free wifi. Each suite is equipped with full bathroom(s) and full kitchen (range, microwave, refrigerator, table, chairs and cabinets). Residents also have access to a laundry facility on every second floor, and a variety of study spaces including our library, student lounge and private residence lounges. To ensure the safety of all residents, the building has overnight security and resident living areas are not accessible to the general public. Residents are able to choose from three different meal plan options in our dining facility.
Through access to our mentorship program, student groups, counselling, and spiritual direction, St. Joseph's College encourages the personal and spiritual development of each resident. SJC also offers daily Mass, retreats and other events that support healthy student life.
