Application Process

Applying for Fall 2024:

Our application process has changed, so please pay close attention to this new information: 


  • Click the link below, and you will be brought to the application webpage. You will need to sign in with your CCID and password:

  • Once you log in, you will either see your profile information already, or will need to create an account. If your information is there, please make sure it is correct. If for some reason you are unable to log in with your CCID and password, please email your CCID and Student ID to  sjcres@ualberta.ca

  • You will then see the "applications" tab. Under this tab, you may see two options. Please ensure you are filling out the correct application: either the returning resident application or the new resident application. Once you submit your application, it will get sent to the residence office for approval. Once approved, you will be given access to the housing contract. 

  • You will then be required to pay your deposit ($500 for the Women's Residence, $450 for the Men's Residence). You can pay via e-transfer to sjcpay@ualberta.ca. Please note in the comments section that this is a Fall 2024 deposit. Returning Residents will have their deposit carried over from this year.

Please note: You will have until June 30th to cancel your application and receive your deposit back (minus a $50 admin fee). Cancellations after June 30th will forfeit deposits, regardless of when your application was submitted.
