Political Science undergrad sings the National Anthem in Cree at NHL game

Christina Hollingworth is a singer and songwriter from the Enoch Cree Nation. She is a first year undergraduate student at the University of Alberta, majoring in psychology (Arts) and minoring in political science. Christina has performed at multiple events around Alberta including Junofest and the International Street Performer’s Festival.

Christina was invited to sing the Canadian anthem in Cree at the Edmonton Oilers Indigenous Celebration game as a way of recognizing and celebrating Indigenous people’s history, talent and culture.
