Journal Club is a mandatory learning event for residents from PGY-1 through PGY-5. These events are held 4 times per academic year on Mondays. Meeting starts at 1800 hrs

Journal Club is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section I) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Learning Objectives
1. To provide ongoing and cumulative experience in the critical evaluation of the medical literature using a systematic approach.
2. To make participants aware of current advances in Ophthalmology and to facilitate discussion on their relevance to clinical practice.
3. Using an interactive format, the participant will gain an understanding of epidemiological concepts as they relate to study design and statistical analysis.
