Dr. Charles Cole, who specializes in glaucoma, complex anterior segment surgery, and international ophthalmology, was invited by Dr. Mark Greve to speak about international ophthalmology at Grand Rounds, and to teach minimal small incision cataract surgery to the residents and faculty ophthalmologists in Edmonton. This was the first time the new digital wet lab teaching technology was used for interactive lecturing, and surgical demonstrations. It was a great success! Dr. Cole is an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical Center, the director of the Glaucoma services at the New York Hospital Queens Eye Center, and a faculty member of Mount Sinai New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is a dedicated surgeon and teacher, both for residents at Cornell, and internationally in many countries including Mongolia, Tanzania, Peru, Cameroon, China, Croatia, Taiwan, China, and Austria. Thank you for your expertise!
