The Graduate Teaching + Learning Program

The Graduate Teaching and Learning Program is a supplementary, post-baccalaureate certificate in University teaching instruction open to all students.

The Embedded Certificate in Data Science

Students planning to pursue a degree in Pure or Applied Mathematics, or Mathematical Physics may find it interesting that the Department offers an Embedded Certificate in Data Science. The intention of this certificate is to provide students with marketable skills for the non-academic job market but is likely also helpful in academic settings. Students are awarded the certificate if they complete three courses (out of a large list of possibilities), as well as the Graduate Teaching and Learning Program (Level 1). Depending on individual circumstances, the courses taken for the certificate may or may not count toward course requirements in the actual degree program.
