Your support can help us to not only highlight the unique qualities of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics so we continue to draw some of the best students in the world, but will also be instrumental in providing a wide variety of opportunities for our graduate students in their research endeavours.
Math and stats community outreach
The scope of our activities extends far beyond the physical boundaries of the University of Alberta's campuses, be it via direct engagement with school teachers and their students or by lending our expertise to the private sector. Some community outreach activities include contests, camps, clubs, and classroom visits, including visits to Indigenous communities.
