Quick Guides to the Health Professions
These short documents introduce the health professions. They give an overview of each discipline's role, scope of practice, education, and licensure in Alberta. These guides were developed in collaboration with the University of Alberta health science faculties, the Office of Interprofessional Education at the University of Western Ontario (http://www.uwo.ca), and many of the professional associations identified in the documents. For more information, see the Health profession regulatory colleges and associations list.
