Virtual Interprofessional Educator Resource (VIPER)
The Health Sciences Education and Research Commons (HSERC) has been researching, developing and delivering interprofessional health education curriculum for more than 20 years. We've created some unique resources to support interprofessional education at the University of Alberta, which we are pleased to share here through the Virtual Interprofessional Educator Resource (VIPER).
You'll find worksheets, templates, flashcards, and other materials on topics such as core interprofessional competencies, debriefing and feedback, experiential learning, interprofessional skills assessment, professionalism, and team skills and tools.
VIPER also hosts Interprofessional Care Processes, a complete education package for learning Rapid Rounds, Bedside Shift Report, and Patient Bedside Whiteboards. These resources were produced as a joint initiative between Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta, in partnership with Covenant Health; funding was provided by Alberta Health.
