6.6 Non-degree and Visiting Students

Non-degree graduate students and Visiting graduate students are admitted by the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies (GPS) for one year.

Non-degree Graduate Students

For non-degree graduate students, further registrations require completion of a Non-Degree Graduate Student Registration Form found in the GPS forms cabinet giving departmental permission for the student to enroll in the desired course(s). GPS will register non-degree graduate students in the courses listed on the form.

If non-degree graduate students wish to add a course(s), the department offering the course will complete a Non-Degree Graduate Student Registration Form and submit it to GPS for approval and processing.

Visiting Graduate Students

For Visiting graduate students, further registrations require completion of a new Application for Visiting Graduate Student form giving departmental permission for the student to enroll in the desired course(s). Once the admission has been processed, the Department registers the student in the courses. Exception: RSCH 900 must be added by GPS.

If visiting graduate students wish to add a course(s), the department can process the change in registration.
