Mechanical engineering alumna Katherine Schoepp presented her research at the international Falling Walls competition in Berlin today (Nov. 8). Here, she explains the research she and her colleagues are conducting to help amputees literally reconnect with the world around them. Schoepp graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2013 and completed her master's degree in 2016. She's currently working in the U of A Bionic Limbs for Improved Natural Control (BLINC) lab.
