WCHRI Partnership
Our partnership with the Women and Children's Health Research Institute (WCHRI) was established in 2008. Since then, we have offered support in the areas of qualitative research, knowledge translation, and community/patient engagement relating to women and/or children's health.
Bethan Kingsley is the research associate that supports the advancement of research and capacity building in these areas:
- Knowledge Translation (KT plan development and implementation)
- Community-Based Participatory Research (ethical and meaningful engagement of community members and patients in research)
- Qualitative Research (study design, data collection, analysis)
Our partnership also supports the Patient and Community Engagement Training. The program offers graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from all faculties and disciplines an opportunity to access support and learning about community-based research in women and/or children's health in addition to funding.
