The Evaluation Capacity Network will be launching its inaugural spring evaluation institute, UEval, this June 2019. UEval is a one-week institute that brings undergraduates, graduates, and community professionals together for a unique co-learning experience focused on evaluation in the community context. Co-created by a Learning Advisory Committee comprised of representatives from disciplines across campus (Faculty of Extension, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Educational Psychology, Department of Human Ecology, School of Public Health, and Community Service-Learning), and the community (City of Edmonton, United Way of the Alberta Capital Region, Edmonton Community Foundation, and Canadian Evaluation Society), this institute aims to bridge an important community-university evaluation gap.
UEval co-instructors, Rebecca Gokiert and Jason Daniels, will engage learners in the exploration and application of evaluation theory through experiential case-based learning. For more information about UEval, visit: http://www.ueval.uax.ca/
