Research
The goal of CUP's research is to create, share, and mobilize knowledge in ways that can inform policy, practice, and evaluation to enhance the development of children, youth and families. Each project is guided through innovative community-based research partnerships that involve community and university partners from diverse sectors and disciplines.
CUP supports a variety of research and evaluation needs of varying scopes. The projects listed on the following research pages are not exhaustive but reflect current projects of larger scope.
CUP's research expertise and focus falls into six specific areas of interest:
- Early Child Development
- Evaluation
- Methods in Community Based Research (CBR)
- Policy Development
- Poverty Reduction
Projects may address a single area of interest but more often than not, due to the interdisciplinary and multisectoral nature of our work, projects have wide ranging applications and implications that span more than one area of interest.
