Adding components to your page

 

The Carousel displays multiple images in a sliding carousel format. Each image can have separate text and a link to more information.

To add a Carousel to your page, select Carousel from the Type menu.

The Carousel item will be added to your page:

Select or upload an image from your Media Library, add a caption that will appear over the image and choose and internal or external link.

You can add, edit or reorder carousel items by using the add-delete-reorder-icons icons in the Carousel Item header.

Usage

Carousels are not intended to be used as hero banners. They should also never be used on full-width no-padding rows.

Text on images

As always, ensure you use images without text on them; the caption field can be used to add text that is both accessible and search engine friendly.

Image sizing

Ensure all images in the carousel are the same width and height. If not, your carousel will expand/contract to the current image size. See below for an example.

Any content below a carousel with images that are not the same size will move as the image changes.
