Dance Team
The U of A Dance Team is a Jazz and Hip Hop focused group ready to pump up the crowd wherever we go!
We are a public performance based group for both University and community events. We are committed to our values of family, creating lifelong friendships, and sharing our love of dance. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to perform at a variety of events such as sports games, bar performances and charity events. There are also travel and fundraising opportunities! We hold auditions for our team in September, and the season runs until mid April, with two practices a week.
History
While our club has been around for many years, we have undergone a major reform in the way in which our club is run. We have moved away from beginner/intermediate choreography, and are transitioning our team to perform at an intermediate/advanced level. While the expectations of our dancers may be higher, we will strive to train and grow as a team, and anyone and everyone is welcome to audition!
