Pediatric Radiology Residency Program

Lucy Jamieson

Welcome to the Pediatric Radiology Residency Program at the Stollery Children's Hospital. We are Western Canada's first Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada's accredited pediatric radiology training program.

The aim of our program is to teach residents how to function as safe, competent and independent Pediatric Radiologists. There are excellent research opportunities, with protected research time during the week and opportunity and funding to attend and present at pediatric conferences. Some unique opportunities in our program include pediatric neuroradiology training and interventional procedures such as chest and abdominal tube drainages and solid organ biopsies, which are performed by our pediatric radiologists. We have one of North America's oldest and largest fetal MRI programs. As the Stollery Children's Hospital is a large centre for cardiac and organ transplantation, the resident has opportunity to see interesting and rare cases.

Thank you for taking the time to look at the University of Alberta Pediatric Residency Program. Please contact us should you have any questions or concerns.
