Training and Consulting Centre

Response to COVID-19 and University closure: the TCC continues to accept clients as usual during the University closure. All meetings will be conducted over Google hangouts.

Welcome to the TCC!

The Training and Consulting Centre (TCC) is a team of graduate students, faculty, and staff in the Statistics Division at the University of Alberta. Our mission is to provide statistical support and consulting to the University's research community, foster statistical understanding, and provide graduate student training.

Through free sessions in the department and external contract work, our consultants are pleased to provide a range of services and assistance during any stage of the research process:

  • Experiment and survey design
  • Data collection
  • Statistical modelling and data analysis
  • Result interpretation

The proper use of statistical techniques will strengthen and clarify your research questions, methods, and results—and may save you time and effort in the process—so come in and see us!
