Seminars and Advising Appointments

The University of Alberta Career Centre offers a number of free seminars to help you learn more about the art of the job search, how to build an effective resume, networking skills, or to learn more about what organizations are looking for when they conduct an interview.

Employer Information Sessions & Networking Events

Find out what it's like working for organizations in your field. Company recruiters and employees will be on hand to present information and answer questions about topics including: company culture, projects, career path options, recruiting practices, qualifications for open positions, the hiring process, and expectations for new employees.

Our office also collaborates with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), the Consulting Engineers of Alberta (CEA), and other partners on a number of annual professional development and networking events.
