STUDENT SUCCESS

Congratulations to Rebecca Probst, Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering on receiving the 2022 Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation (CEMF) Pairies Regional Award, valued at $5,000! "I was really surprised and honoured when I found out I was chosen for this award! Outreach is important to me, and I've spent quite a bit of time in the past few years - both virtually and in-person - promoting engineering and STEM to students of all ages. It feels great getting validation that yes, I am making an impact; it's all the more reason to keep doing what I can to unpack some of the barriers that many face when thinking about pursuing engineering."
