This 90 minute workshop will outline some best practices for handling files and folders within Google Drive, including information regarding: utilizing Google Drive to store records within the University of Alberta; functional differences between My Drive and Shared Drives; how file sharing functions; and transitory vs non-transitory files. We will also discuss how to delete files while being aware of how much storage space we are consuming.
The workshop will be particularly useful for users who are storing a large amount of files within their Google Drive and want a better understanding of how to manage those files, while ensuring that access to them is available.
