DiscoverE + Sport Skills Combo's
In partnership with the DiscoverE, the Green and Gold Sport System is offering an expanded lineup of full-day combination camps this year. Our combo camps will expand this year to offer both options in Biomedical Engineering (BME) or Chemical & Materials Engineering (CME).
For half the day, campers will learn engineering, science, and technology concepts through exciting hands-on projects and demonstrations. Our instructors are University of Alberta students who act as mentors in higher education. The other half of the day involves exploring a variety of sports with the intention of developing a wide range of movement skills that will complement their current athletic pursuits and introduce them to new ones.
Green and Gold Sport Skills camps offer participants an ideal opportunity to experience new sports and activities in several different settings with Golden Bears and Panda Varsity Athletes and camp coaches.
- Each participant will be provided with a camp T-Shirt.
- Participants are required to wear athletic clothing, closed-toe footwear
- Indoor and Outdoor shoes are needed

Explore Camp Schedule
- Drop Off Period 8:30am to 9:00am

FUNdamentals: Ages 6-8 / Grades 2-3
Biomedical Engineering(BME)/ Sport Skills - $325
Sports! Sports! Sports! A medley of mechanical movement mixed with dynamic group play! Sports are an integral part of fun and campers will get to play and learn in our collaboration camp with Green & Gold Sports Camps!
Campers will partake in half a day learning about different sports and playing them! Campers will then spend half a day with DiscoverE , learning about the more in-depth biomechanics behind each sport!

On your mark, get set, go!! Is your camper ready to flex their brain as well as their muscles? If so, CME & Sports is the camp for them! In conjunction with Green & Gold Sports Camps, this program offers a positive approach towards learning new skills in a fun, friendly, and safe environment. It's a fun-filled week of experimentation, recreation, and collaboration!
Campers will spend half their day learning about the exciting field of Chemical and Materials engineering with fun, hands-on projects. The other half of the day will be spent playing sports and exploring athletic fundamentals!
