Founded in 1922, the University of Alberta's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has been a driving force in women's health care and well-being for nearly a century.
Throughout various developments in science, technology and teaching, our goal has remained to impact positively on the health of women. Today, our programs welcome over two hundred undergraduate students, residents, fellows and postgraduate researchers annually and provide platforms for a variety of advancements in women's health research and education.
